Building on the success of their commercial relationship, global and regional digital leader LG Electronics and the well-established Royal House Group have consolidated their partnership to equip the real estate group's upcoming projects in the UAE with state-of-the-art HomNet and commercial air conditioning solutions.
LG Electronics and the Royal House Group initially signed an agreement to outfit Al Naseem Tower in Sharjah, a Royal House property, with LG's premier home networking solution - LG HomNet. The latest deal with the Royal House group is valued at Dhs100m and will see LG strengthening its penetration into the region's booming construction industry.
HomNet is a brand new concept in the market, 'converged intelligent home network' to provide state-of-the-art digital homes, which is designed as a solution for the residential towers and community developments, offering residents a more convenient and safer lifestyle.
The Royal House Group is one of the biggest players in the region's construction segment and is developing a number of luxury properties across the region. A high-level Royal House delegation, led by its Chairman Ahmed Al Kheyaili, recently visited LG's headquarters in Seoul to finalise the deal. Following the visit, Royal House will also implement LG's MPS Air-conditioning Solutions in its projects.
Mr. K. W. Kim, President of LG Electronics - Middle East and Africa, commented on the development, saying 'We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Royal House, to include not only LG HomNet but also our state-of-the-art air conditioning solutions, which have earned LG the recognition as the world's number one manufacturer of airconditioners for the past seven consecutive years.'
Ahmed Al Kheyaili, Chairman of the Royal House Group said, 'This agreement with LG Electronics strengthens our commitment to our customers of providing the best that technology can offer with a company that has proven to be the global leader of air conditioners. We look forward to more ventures with LG Electronics in the near future.'
LG has already confirmed contracts worth Dhs70m with real estate developers in the UAE to outfit 2,800 homes with comprehensive and tailored solutions. These include prestigious projects such as Santevill and U-Bora Tower, both in Business Bay, as well as Platinum Penthouse Tower in Sharjah.
The air conditioning solutions are tailor-made for building projects and provide cutting-edge technology along with trained professionals available for installation and maintenance, courtesy of the LG Training Academy in Ghusais, Dubai. The academy is the only one of its kind in the UAE, which trains employees to install and maintain air conditioning units for commercial as well as residential purposes. |
