Digital leader ties up with leading UAE schools in latest healthy living campaign Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics (LG) is celebrating the launch of its latest 'Healthy Living' collection by collaborating with leading schools across the UAE to raise awareness and educate children on the benefits of healthy living.
Together with its UAE distributor Al Yousuf Electronics, LG has launched 'Paint and Win,' a drawing competition for school children between the ages of 6-10 years that will run throughout the month of June. Using LG's Healthy Living Collection to highlight the importance of healthy lifestyle practices, the campaign aims to provide children with values that can be emulated in adulthood.
Up until June 15th 2009, participating schools were provided with registration forms and drawing sheets for school children to sign up and submit their entries to Al Yousuf Electronics showrooms in Dubai. For those children not part of the registered schools, painting sheets were made available from Al Yousuf Electronics showrooms and as a cut out from leading newspapers.
Winners will be selected this week by a judging panel appointed by LG ? upon selection, the winning entry will appear in local newspapers and winners will be awarded with fabulous prizes from the Healthy Living line.
"Educating children through a fun, hands-on experience and competition is a sure way to engage children while promoting important health values at an early stage in their lives," Mr. H.S. "In time, children and their families can put to use what they have learned through the products offered through The Healthy Living range, making it easy to adopt better lifestyle practices in the future.

The product line includes the bacteria-free range of Plasma Gold Plus Air conditioners, Vita Light Green Ion door cooling refrigerators (preserves vitamin), Steam washing machine (British Allergy Foundation Certified), healthier Solar DOM Light Wave Oven, Kompressor vacuum cleaners and 16-washable-filter air purifiers.
The response to LG's Healthy Living Collection has been quite overwhelming and is still growing, as evident by the volume and excitement of participants at the 'Paint and Win' competition.The winners will be revealed at the end of June 2009 at the Dubai Mall Al Yousuf Electronics showroom, where they will walk away with fabulous prizes.
