For its fourth Big 5 participation, LG Electronics, now the world's leading air-conditioner supplier, had a pavilion of almost 90 square metres 24% larger that its stand at last year's show.
The global and digital leader used the show to debut into the Middle East its multi-concealed duct system ? the first of its type with linear external static pressure controls. The product is to go on sale in the Middle East & Africa next year.
'This system is more flexible for consultants, specifiers and end users,' explained Siraj Akbani, General Manager, Commercial Air Conditioners, LG Gulf FZE. 'It offers independent temperature control, greater power saving and reduced maintenance costs.
'Two compressors are combined into one external chassis, which improves building design and reduces piping costs. This innovation will change the face of air conditioning design.'
Also to demoed at the Big 5 was LG's revolutionary oxygen generator central a/c and its heat recovery ventilator accessory ? the HRV.
